Linzey Jones

Managing Director of Corporate Engagement, Year Up United

Linzey G. Jones serves as Managing Director of Corporate Engagement at Year Up United, where he oversees the organization's regional sales and talent placement operations to drive revenue, internship placements, and job conversion outcomes. With 17 years of experience at Year Up United, Linzey brings deep expertise in workforce development, employer engagement, talent placement, enrollment strategy, program management, and organizational growth. 

Since joining Year Up United in 2009, Linzey has held leadership roles across multiple functions and levels of the organization. He began his career with Year Up United supporting student enrollment and program management at the organization's New York site. He later advanced to national leadership positions, including National Program Director, Regional Director, and National Deputy Director of Enrollment, where he helped scale key programmatic and enrollment initiatives across the organization. 

During his tenure on the national Program team, Linzey played a significant role in Year Up United's expansion efforts, helping launch 16 new locations across the country. His experience spanning student recruitment, program operations, workforce development, and employer partnerships has given him a comprehensive understanding of the organization's talent development model and its impact on young adults and employers. 

Today, as Managing Director of Corporate Engagement, Linzey leads efforts to connect talented young adults with career opportunities through employer partnerships, while supporting internship placement and employment outcomes that advance economic opportunity and workforce development goals. 

Before joining Year Up United, Linzey worked at Amplify, an education technology company. 

Linzey's areas of expertise include workforce development, corporate engagement, talent placement, employer partnerships, enrollment strategy, program management, revenue growth, sales leadership, and organizational expansion. 

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music conservatory and is a trained opera singer.
