Jennifer Scherck

Chief of Staff, Year Up United

Jennifer Scherck is the Chief of Staff at Year Up United, a national workforce development organization committed to expanding access to economic opportunity for all young adults and providing talent, business, and community solutions to reshape the world of work.

 As Chief of Staff, Jennifer serves as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO and President, working closely with the Board and executive team to drive execution on the organization's highest priorities, improve cross-functional alignment, and translate strategy into measurable progress. 

Since joining Year Up United in 2016, Jennifer has held leadership roles across revenue and fundraising operations where she built forecasting models, established KPIs and goal measurement systems, and led operations for major fundraising campaigns—equipping leaders with data and insights to raise $500M+ in philanthropy and connect thousands of young adults with quality jobs. 

Jennifer began her career in fundraising and program management at educational nonprofit organizations, where she gained experience in direct service, event management, and stakeholder engagement. Based in Boston, she holds a B.A. in History from Tufts University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Leadership from Lesley University.
