Anthony C. Lloyd, Sr. serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Year Up United, bringing more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across nonprofit, education, healthcare, private equity, and corporate finance. He is a strategic finance leader who specializes in financial management, operational excellence, organizational growth, long-term planning, and financial transformation for mission-driven organizations.
Lloyd's commitment to expanding economic opportunity is reflected in his leadership across workforce development organizations. As Chief Financial Officer of INROADS, he helped guide the financial strategy of an international nonprofit dedicated to connecting underserved students with corporate internships and career pathways. He also served as Vice President of Finance and People Operations at LaunchCode, where he supported the growth of technology training and apprenticeship programs designed to create accessible pathways into technology careers.
Earlier in his career, Lloyd spent a decade at Fannie Mae, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff in Corporate Administration and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Chief Risk Office. In these roles, he supported the financial and operational oversight of one of the world's largest mortgage portfolios and contributed to enterprise-wide planning, risk management, and operational effectiveness.
His private-sector experience includes advisory and leadership roles supporting private equity transactions, corporate restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives as Managing Principal of Livingston Hill Group. Across leadership positions with organizations including the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Mid-America Transplant, and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Lloyd has led financial transformation efforts, strengthened organizational infrastructure, improved operational performance, and supported sustainable growth.
His areas of expertise include financial strategy, corporate finance, nonprofit finance, risk management, operational excellence, private equity, organizational transformation, workforce development, performance improvement, and strategic planning.
Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Tuskegee University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and completed the Emerging CFO Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
